David's Locker

David Pollack, the three-time All-American University of Georgia graduate and Cincinnati Bengals 2005 first-round draft pick, has established the EMPOWER Foundation to provide Cincinnati-area youth with educational opportunities and resources needed to excel in the classroom and life.

David began working with at-risk youth via schools and church youth groups during his college years and realized the positive impact an athlete can have on young people. His message was that with hard work and determination you can achieve your dreams.

Now, having reached the NFL, David wants to use his celebrity to reach an even greater amount of at-risk youth and make a difference in Greater Cincinnati.

The EMPOWER Foundation aims to develop programs that will empower youth to take the necessary steps to change their lives and plan for the future.

David Pollack's EMPOWER Foundation has partnered with Project Connect through the creation of DAVID'S LOCKER. The program is designed to provide PC Site Managers with items children within their schools desperately need immediately and with ease. The first Locker was opened at Oyler School in Lower Price Hill on April 11, 2006 - check out photos from the dedication. The Empower Foundation hopes to expand DAVID'S LCOKER to additional schools next year.

David is committed to being a positive role model for Greater Cincinnati-area youth and looks forward to working with the public and business communities to achieve EMPOWER’s goals.
